Autumnal Cake

I made this autumnal cake for the school harvest festival auction. It’s a maderia sponge, filled with raspberry jam and buttercream, covered with white fondant icing and decorated with fondant icing autumn leaves and harvest mice. I shaped the leaves by rolling the soft icing around cylinders of varying sizes until they had hardened, then set them in place using a solution of icing sugar and water.
