Ben had his first Beavers event today, which was a cyclo-cross, in a muddy field, in the middle of nowhere. In the rain. And the wind. Although, actually the wind had dropped, and the rain managed to stay away for the time we were there. But it was fairly chilly. Still, that didn’t stop the children having fun, and Ben’s group won their part of the contest. A good time was had by all, and Ben did really well, although we have decided he really needs a new bike. Best get saving then…
