The children and I enjoyed a rare (in fact, I think the first ever) proper day out together, just the three of us. I normally feel bad taking them places without someone else (Lee or my parents) because it seems a waste somehow. But it was such a nice day, and to be honest, I really enjoyed just spending some time with them, and just playing (followed by coffee and cake/ice cream with a friend). Problem is they don’t keep still long enough for me to work out how to use my new camera, so here is a photo of the view from where we were instead – Whinlatter.
