This photo really doesn’t do the view justice in any way, shape or form – I blame the hazy cloud, and not my atrocious photographic skills, at all. It was a lovely walk at Orrest Head, Windermere, and the children really loved it, and didn’t once complain about the distance (a first!). If you are in the area, make sure you have a wander up. It’s not a hard walk, and well worth it when you get to the top.
