Walking around with my camera seems to be making me more observant. I find I am noticing little details that I hadn’t seen before, and looking at things from a new perspective. This little chap caught my eye today (closely followed by a gorgeous patch of snowdrops, but I figured they will still be there for another day, whereas I might not see Woody again).
The sunlight on the trees, picking out the areas where the bark had been stripped, looks lovely, I think. I know it’s not great focus, but it’s as good as I could get in the fleeting moment before he flew off to another tree. And he is rather a handsome fellow, don’t you think?
